![]() The food at Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya was nothing short of sensational. Let's start with the culinary delights that awaited us at every turn. From the moment we stepped foot onto this luxurious resort, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of service that surpassed our expectations. Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya in Mexico is an absolute gem that left an indelible mark on our vacation memories. If you’ve been to a few all inclusive resorts, you will known immediately this place is different, it’s better.Įnjoy your stay, wear sunscreen and get ready to fall in love with one of the best kept secrets in Cancun!! We met multiple couples that had been there 10-15 times, and that is not an exaggeration. If you need more to sway your decision, all you need to do is spend time talking to the MANY MANY return visitors. The staff and team here are well trained, and make it a priority to ensure your trip is above 5 star. I would put their food against any of the other restaurants on premise, it was top notch every-time.Īngel on the beach is amazing as well, he was always around to chat and help with drink orders. Every restaurant requires slacks except this restaurant, but don’t let that fool you. Nancy our server was a pleasure, always happy to see us and gave us amazing service. Our favorite was Mar Y Tierra on the beach. However, everything else went well, with extraordinary service from Noemie at breakfast buffet, Alan the server at Don Miquel, Felipe the server at beach restaurant, and our fave Go Team Lorenzo, always with a smile and conversation!īig property so you still have the “private” feel!Īmazing food options for anywhere, much less an all inclusive. Secondly, I got very sick from lunch, and missed all evening activities. Disappointing all the inaccurate information we were given. I had to cancel my original transportation- that i pre-paid for with no refund- and make new arrangements. Finally, they allowed us to stay until 5. Then, talking to a supervisor, we were told 1. Then, when we checked out the next morning, we were told we had to leave by 6. I arranged my transportation accordingly. This may not be exact procedure, but the check-in person kindly offered us to stay until 8pm, which was perfect. The biggest issue this trip was upon checking in, we asked if we could check out of the room at regular time but leave the property later, as our flight that night left at midnight and we'd rather be at the resort than in the airport. We made it a point to visit July 4- as we have many previous years- even though we live in Mexico 30 minutes away now. Didn't quite seem the same as previous visits. Once each module is completed, students will receive credit for the course they did not originally pass. ![]() These online models were created by West faculty to closely mirror the traditional classroom learning equivalent.ĭuring this summer session, students have the option to take Apex tutorials to replace classes they did not pass during the school year. The West team created a summer learning curriculum to best assist their students through Apex Learning online tutorials. “We wanted to keep these students in the routine that they were in during the school year.”īecause of this customized experience, summer learning at West looks different than at other Columbus City Schools locations. “These are kids we have been working with all year long,” Sells explained. This close relationship allows staff members to identify students who would benefit from summer credit recovery and recommend that they attend. Staff work with students throughout the year to keep track of their credits. Brent Sells, assistant principal at West, said one of their main goals is to ensure West students graduate on time. Sitting at tables, teachers work alongside students to help them recover any credits they may have lost during the academic year.ĭr. ![]() “They (the bushings) squeak a little,” he says. Houston, who runs British Sports Car Works, a pro restoration shop in Boca Raton, Florida, also convinced Proctor to upgrade the suspension with better springs and longer-lasting urethane bushings, a change Proctor grumbles about in a good-natured way. Proctor and Houston rebuilt the wheel cylinders with stainless steel pistons, and the brake lines and exhaust system also are stainless. Proctor and Houston followed a policy of making subtle cosmetic and mechanical upgrades that would make the car look better, run better or last longer, as long as such changes wouldn’t compromise overall original appearance or show-worthiness.įor example, the dashboard is African rosewood - provided by Prestige Auto Wood - a custom upgrade with a more intricate grain pattern than the walnut wood used by the factory.Īs another example, the suspension was sandblasted and then nickel plated for corrosion resistance before receiving a coat of black Glasurit Urethane. Tom Bolen, a Triumph aficionado who judged the engine bay of Proctor’s roadster at one show, said he couldn’t find anything wrong with it and finally deducted one-half point for a few specs of dirt in a corner of the engine bay.Įxternally, the TR6 looks absolutely stock and original, except that the overall fit and finish, and in some cases the materials, are better than when the car was new. The word in the Triumph network is that Proctor’s car is about as good as they get. In 1996 he won a first place at the Vintage Triumph Registry Regional in Tallahassee. The first time out, it won the best of show award at the 1995 Vintage Triumph Registry Regional at Daytona Beach. If the car’s show history is any indicator, Proctor has succeeded. The goal was to make this car as good as a TR6 could be. After he and his TR6 specialist buddy, Dean Houston, went over the car in detail it was decided that TR6 CC59882LO would be a perfect candidate for a no-expense-spared, no effort-spared restoration. A car of this quality and condition is an island in the sea of average and below average TR6s. The car also had been loaded with factory and dealer options including an electric overdrive, Michelin redline tires, 72-spoke wire wheels and an oil cooler. What he also had was an original, rust-free, matching-numbers TRO in a rare red-on-white color combination.
